Funding has a few moving parts. Here’s what’s useful to know.
Is StartupGrants UK free to use?
Yes. Browse the directory, read guides and save programmes without paying or creating an account. Providers set their own terms, costs and application requirements.
Are all of these cash grants?
No. We label cash grants, cloud credits, software perks and research funding separately. Credits and discounts reduce specific costs; they are not cash you can spend elsewhere.
Does a match mean I’m eligible?
No. Filters narrow your search using broad programme information. Only the provider can confirm eligibility and award support after reviewing its full criteria and your application.
How does my saved list work?
Your saved programme IDs stay in this browser’s local storage. They do not sync between devices and clearing browser data removes them. We do not submit applications on your behalf.
How current are the listings?
Every listing links to an official source and shows its review date. Terms and availability can change after a review, so always check the provider before applying. Report changes through our suggestion page.
