STARTUPGRANTS UK

Useful information. Clear sources.

How we choose programmes, describe benefits and keep the limits of the directory visible.

Start with an official source

Listings are based on provider websites, official government guidance or the organisation administering a programme. The original source is linked on every programme page.

Our initial collection is a curated starting point, not a complete list of UK funding. Some listings describe ongoing funding routes or official finders rather than a single grant competition.

Keep different benefits separate

  • Cash grants: financial awards or funding packages, subject to the provider’s terms.
  • Cloud credits: allowances against eligible service bills, not cash.
  • Software perks: introductory free periods or discounts, which can lead to paid renewals.
  • Research & innovation: competitive funding routes and research support.

Make the headline meaningful

Amounts marked “up to” are provider maxima, not a guaranteed offer. We explain major tier requirements and keep the advertised currency. We do not add programme maxima into a combined funding total.

Location and stage tags are browsing aids. They do not replace the provider’s complete eligibility rules. A UK-wide tag can include an international programme that accepts relevant UK applicants.

Show the status and review date

“Rolling applications” describes an ongoing provider application route, subject to current availability. “Check current calls” means an individual competition or intake must be checked. “Round closed” means the published deadline has passed.

The initial listings were reviewed on 23 October 2026. This is a review date, not a claim of continuous monitoring. A provider may change its offer afterwards.

Corrections and commercial transparency

Listings are not paid placements and application links are direct, without affiliate tracking. No provider endorsement is implied. If a detail has changed, prepare a correction with the official source so it can be reviewed.
